Take the original price (180) and multiply it by the percentage (30% or 0.3).
180 x 0.3 = 54
Add the result (which is 30% of the original price) to the original price.
180 + 54 = 234
So, the rubber raft selling price is $234, which is a 30% markup of the original price.

there r 2 ways to do this...

(1) 180 * 1.30 = 234 <=

OR

(2) 180 + 0.30(180) = 180 + 54 = 234 <=
