How do you write a compound-complex sentence? Examples?

A compound-complex sentence is made of two simple sentences joined by a conjunction and one of the sentences are complex. So, it is a compound sentence with a dependent/subordinate clause

Example: We are going ice-skating, but first, I have to clean my room after we finish eating breakfast.

The dependent clause is in bold.
