There are 3 type of growth forms in a sponge first, Asconoids;are small , simple forms with a tube-shaped body, second Syconoids;also have a tubular body whose wall is much thicker and highly folded into a series of incurrent canals that deliver water into radial canals lined with choanocytes. Third Leuconoid: the largest and most complex ones -permits for an increase in body size.
