Option (A) other characters will fear it because they cannot understand what it wants. Precisely we could say that the lack of communication is often what makes mounters more fearful. Usually they are chilling, with an aspect that leaves a lot to be desired, they approach in doubtful situations and growl (because they have communicative intent) but they just manage to make a bellow and that makes them more scary.
