2x -3 = 49
DOH E OPPOSITE OF SUBTRACTION WICH JS ADDING BECAUSE -3 becomes +3
2x = 49 + 3
2x ='52
52 divided by 2
= 26

The correct answer is 26.
To do this, do the reverse of the problem:
Add 3 to 49 to get 52.
Then divide 52/2 to get 26.
To check this math, do the following:
26 x 2 - 3
