Cultures that value certainty like communication to be direct and without ambiguity while cultures that value uncertainty do not like direct communication and can tolerate much more ambiguity.

Answer:

Uncertainty is accepted as part of life and people are generally more relaxed and flexible in unfamiliar situations.

Step-by-step explanation:

Cultures with uncertainty try to avoid risks, unstructured situations, or that get out of the ordinary. They are more emotional, they often increase security with strict laws, and at a philosophical and religious level, they believe in absolute truth.

Unlike cultures with greater certainty that are usually more reflective, tolerant and relativistic.
