how has regionalism affected the formation of group and personal identity among black communities during the first half of the 19th century

Regionalism has made it so that black communities may feel out of place when traveling to other regions that do no have a strong black community present. Regionalism has made it so that different regions view things different and behave in potential similar or non-similar ways.
