After the nurse injects equal dose of air in each vial, the nurse can take the insulin into the syringe. The air injected into the vial can help the vial maintain its pressure so it won't become more negative when the insulin is taken.
After that, clean the site of injection using alcohol swab and then administer the insulin subcutaneously.
