if you would like to find the quotient of 2 1/4 and 5/8, you can calculate this using the following steps:
2 1/4 = 9/4
2 1/4 / 5/8 = 9/4 / 5/8 = 9/4 * 8/5 = 18/5 = 3 3/5
The correct result would be 3 3/5.
