Hello there,
1. Since we know the number of cubes per student,find the total.
27 x 5 = 135
2. Find the total number of spinners
189 - 135 = 54
3. Find the number of spinners per student.
54 / 27 = 2 spinners/student

5 x 27 = 135 (total number of number cubes)
189 - 135 = 54 (total number of spinners)
54/27 (54 divided by 27) = 2 (spinners per student)
Therefore, each student would get 2 spinners.
