Answer would be B.

since the area is 2√2 + 3...
A=b*h since its a square b=h so basically A = b^2

so 2√2 + 3 = b^2

b = √(2√2 + 3) == √2 + 1

the reason this is the case is because...

we need to express 2√2 + 3 as a square using 2√2+3 = 1+2√2+(√2)^2
know that 1 + (√2)^2 = 3...we just broke it apart so we can factor
when we do we get :
√( (√2 + 1)^2 ) then just cancel the exponents to get:
√2 + 1
