How were children affected by the Great Depression?

they didn't have much money nor food because the great depression was a time of lots of sadness (obviously), lots of people were broke, and no jobs to help with the money situation.

children worked to support their families which affected the education. many starved, many ran away from home (to find a better place, food, etc.)
