There are a lot of reasons to terminate an employee’s contract according to the law, the tow main ones are:

1. Misconducts like violations to the company code, violent behavior, harassment, etc.

2. Poor performance.

Keep in mind that in both cases the employer needs evidence to prove that the termination of the contract is justified.
