How do you write a ratio as a percent

Hey there,
If we multiply all quantities involved in a ratio by the same number, the ratio remains valid. For example, 3:5. It is usual either to reduce terms to the lowest common denominator, or to express them in parts per hundred.

In this case (3:5)
3/5 x 100% = 60%
