IDEO employees, during a brainstorming phase, have 5 Rule-of-thumbs: one conversation at a time, stay focused on the topic, encourage wild ideas, defer judgement, and encouragement of others to share their own ideas. The idea is that a collaboration of people can help solve an issue/generate new ideas than just one person.
