What will happen if the time is not taken to properly measure and lay out a job before trying to bend conduit?

Each length of conduit and each bend have to measure out accurately within the space allotted for it. Failure to measure properly can result in conduit not fitting in that space or having too much bend which can constrict the passage of it's intended contents. Improper layout can also increase the number of junctions, and amount of conduit required, thus increasing material costs.
