Morphine is a very powerful Opioid which is  drug derived from the active ingredient of poppy plant's; Opium. It is used mostly in medicine to control severe and significant amount's of pain and is a fairly abusive medication almost matching up to Heroin. Like most of it's fellow Opioids, as well as Barbiturates, and Alcohol, they make up a class of drugs known as CNS Depressants which depress the activity of the Central Nervous system.
