A eukaryotic gene was inserted into the dna of a bacterium. the bacterium then transcribed this gene into mrna and then translated the mrna into protein. the protein produced was useless and contained many more amino acids than the protein made by the eukaryotic cell. why?

The protein that produce stated useless because it contained many more amino acids that the protein made by the eukaryotic cells and the mRNA was not edited or spliced as it is in eukaryotes. The explanation that the protein will be useless is that the mRNA was not spliced or edited as it is in eukaryotes.
