The correct option is (b) Debris is carried to the ocean by winds, rivers, and storms. Marine debris is considered anything that does not belongs to ocean. Example plastics, abandoned fish gear, wooden material.Marine debris are carried to oceans by winds, rivers, and storms. Even though the marine debris enters the ocean in one place it, does not means that it is solely caused by the countries bordering it. The wind, gyres and some oceanic features determines the movement of marine debris. It is constantly moved and mixed by wave actions and spread into the ocean.
