Explanation:

From the given picture, the diameter of the base of cylinder = 12 cm

i.e. the radius of the cylinder =
r=(12)/(2)=6\ cm

Height = 15 cm

If the dimensions of the following cylinder are tripled, then the radius of cylinder =
3*6=18\ cm

Height=
3*15=45\ cm

We know that the volume of a cylinder is given by :-
