PLEASE HELP ME I DONT UNDERSTAND... translation (x,y)→(x−6,y+8)

Pretty much, you would just take all of the points on the graph and subtract 6 from the x value and add 8 to the y value. This would be the result of the translation. For example, if a point on the graph was (3, 4), the result after the translation would be (-3, 12). Hope this helps!

it would be -2 because 6-8 is -2
