Trade was key during the Crusades. People needed products to be supplied in different war fronts and many cities became important centers of trade. Crusades found new products in the Middle East that later were brought to West Europe and people started to demand them. Muslim people also traded carpets, compasses, and different kind of textiles that when were known in Europe, were totally accepted and trade increased more.
