The largest number is 8/15
The smallest is -7/9
Now, subtract
8/15 - (-7/9)
Subtracting by a negative number is adding by a positive one
8/15 + 7/9
The LCM of 15 and 9 is 45
24/45 + 35/45
= 59/45
That's your answer.
