Answer: 1 The growth of plants shows that there is a pressence of carbon in the atmosphere. The plants take carbon dioxide and sunlight from the atmosphere for the process of photosynthesis, this provides food to the plants. This food helps in growth and development of the plants and this proves that .

Answer: 2 The carbon exists mainly in the form of carbon dioxide in atmosphere, organic matter in the biosphere and coal, graphite, diamond in geosphere.
