Hello,

With what we know, let's set up an equation. The equation to find the perimeter of a rectangle is: P = 2( L + W)

We know the perimeter is = 7.2 meters

And we know the width is = 1.3 meters

Let's plug that into the equation.
7.2 = 2(1.3 + L)

Let's then distribute the 2 to what's in the parenthesis.
7.2 = 2.6 + 2L

If we then want to find the length, we need to subtract 2.6 from that side and also subtract it to the other side so that 2L is only left. After you do that, the equation simplifies to:
7.2 - 2.6 = 2L

The next step is to subtract 7.2 to 2.6, which is:
4.6 = 2L

Lastly, we want to get L by itself so we will divide l by 2, to cancel the 2 out, and then we need to also divide the left side with 2 also. And that will get you with:
4.6/2 = L

After you divide, L = 2.3 meters

Hope this helps! Have a great day =).
