A=L*W
A=(21)*(2w)=4*L*W
you are comparing 4lw to 1lw
the ratio is 4 to 1 or 4:1 or 4/1

Write it out like so..
Small
A = lw
Large
A = (2l)(2w)
A = 4(lw)
Ratio is 4:1
