Robert F Kennedy's main purpose was to quickly make a statement shortly after hearing of the assassination of the great black civil rights leader Martin Luther Kindling interrupted his political campaign to do it and in a black neighborhood. His main purpose was to ask for compassion and understanding between black and white people in the US and to oppose violence in the race relations.
