Explain why the slope of any horizontal line is 0 and why the slope of any vertical line is undefined. why do the equations of horizontal and vertical lines look so different from those of diagonal lines?

Think of someone skiing. When they are sliding straight(horizontal) it is zero fun. When they are falling down(vertical) it is undefined because they fell down the cliff. I'm not sure about the second part. Hope that helped;)
