Did free states and territories or slaveholding states have the most land area in 1854? (this can be calculated by adding together the square miles of all of the free states and territories, and then doing the same for the slave states. compare the two numbers.)

The free slaves states and the territories had the most land area in 1854 than the slaveholding states. By adding both the free slave states and territories land area it has more land area than the slaveholding states because it is joint land area so basically it will have more land area than the only one.
