divide 3 over 3.75 to get 0.8 feet of snow each hour

3 feet / 3.75 hours = 0.8 feet of snow per hour
Since you are trying to find how much it snowed per hour you would divide the amount of snow by the amount of hours so you would divide 3 by 3.75 to get 0.8 feet (8 inches) of snow each hour
