Answer:

Darius:-

  • built roads for communcation and trade
  • created 20 provinces led by satraps
  • created a coinage system

Cyrus:-

  • created the lmmortals to prtect his empire
  • expanded the Persian Empire's borders

Both of these leaders wore give the name "the great" because of the things they had acomplished for their empire and also because they were fair to their people while acomplishing these things.

- I tried to change it up a bit from the sample answer on edmentum...hope it helped!

Answer:

Cyrus the Great

• created the Persian Empire

• expanded the Persian Empire's borders

• created the Immortals to protect the empire

• showed tolerance for other religions and customs

Darius the Great

• created 20 provinces led by satraps

• built major roads for communication and trade

• showed tolerance for other religions and customs

• created a coinage system

Based on these leaders achievements, they could have also been called the tolerant or the fair. These names would be fitting because the two kings were known for being fair to their subjects and tolerant toward the religions and customs of the lands that they conquered.
