What would happen if the order of operations did not exist?

If the order of operations didn't exist they way of multiplying, dividing, adding, and subtracting in equations would be totally different answers than everyone else like some people would get negative numbers and others wouldn't . Some people often get wrong answers because of the order of operations. For example, people think that it doesn't matter what way you put the parentheses but it actually does! An example of a math problem that people would get confused with is 3 x (56÷7) - 3 The answer is 21
but always remember the order of operations is PEMDAS! :)
