the day would be friday because there are 7 days in a week and in fourteen weeks on wednesday would be 98 days so add two more days which would be friday which is also 100 days

We know that every week (every seven days) it will be Wednesday if today is Wednesday. So, how may weeks are in 100 days? 14. Why? Because 14(7) = 98. So, in order to get to 100 we must add 2. So what is Wednesday plus two more days? Friday. So if today is Wednesday it will be Friday in 100 days. Why? Well, that's how our calendar is set up.
