It might be said that Adam Smith supported industrialization because he was importan for the Industrial Revolution. In fact, he might be considered the most relevant thinker behind the idea of laissez- faire economics, that is to say, he pretended the government to stop telling businessmen what to do. He expected free competition and consumers choice in the market.
