Summarize John’s memories of his childhood. What keeps them from being accepted by the other savages in the brave new world?

There are a couple reasons why John and his mother are not accepted by the other "savages" on the reservation in Brave New World. For one, his mother, who has come from a different civilization, doesn't understand the concept of monogamy, and is therefore ostracized. John is then further excluded from the ritual initiation through which savage boys pass in order to be considered a grown man.
