Every winter I fly home to Michigan it takes five hours what is my average speed

Well you did not say how many miles you are from Michigan

So to find speed, you divide your total distance by the time it took to travel.

3,900 ÷ 5 = 780

You are going at a speed of 780 units per hour. You could always simplify it to seconds by merely dividing your speed by 60.
