why do you think it would be harder for a broken bone to heal in an older person? what aspect of the healing process is slowed down with age?

I think that it would be harder for a bone to heal in an older person because as people get older their cells start to degenerate and don't work fast like they used to. The whole process where cells repair themselves could take a while.
