Meeting held between October 7-25, representatives from some British colonies in North America. It was the 1st gathering of the representatives to address/protest the British taxation Parliament passed the stamp act which put taxes on legal documents. Delegates argued that parliament did not have the right to tax without representation, members of six out of nine delegations signed petitions to King George II objecting the acts.
