The Great Migration in terms of colonial America refers to the time period with the Puritans migrated to New England from 1620- 1640. The time period saw a heavy influx of Puritans in the Northeast region of America along with the Barbados region of West Indies. Rather than individual immigrants, they migrated in packs and families.
