By putting forth the Protestant faith value among churches. Her goal was peace and stability. She often wrote letters that referred to prayer and God, and accepting his will.

In an attempt to unite the country, Queen Elizabeth established the "Religious Settlement" in 1559. It sought to bring the population together under one single religious belief after the changes made under the reigns of Henry VIII, Edward VI, and Mary I. its objective was to settle the division between Catholics and Protestants and clearly define the differences between each religious branch's beliefs and customs.
