The mouth and esophagus themselves don't make any enzymes. but saliva is produced in the salivary glands. And down into the esophagus that contains several important enzymes such as amylase, lysozyme and lingual lipase Which helps prepare the food.

Answer:

salivary glands

Step-by-step explanation:

Salivary glands produce the lubricating fluid found in the mouth and throat, saliva. Saliva contains enzymes that start the process of digestion of food. It also contains antibodies and other substances that help prevent mouth and throat infections. For this reason, we can say that salivary glands are the part of the mouth that secretes enzymes that help prepare food for digestion in the stomach.
