Shakespeare’s Hamlet is an example of Elizabethan drama because complex characters explore human experiences.
Most of the characters in Hamlet are very deep and complex, starting with Hamlet himself. Through him, the author is exploring the themes of suicide, revenge, hatred, pity, etc. Ophelia experiences unrequited love, madness, sadness, etc.
