Hemoglobin is a four chain protein created from iron, which is used in Erythrocytes (Red Blood Cells) as a way of carrying oxygen, throughout the body.

Hemoglobin in particular is split up into two parts of which the iron contain portion is called Heme and the no iron containing is called Globin.
