For this question you need to calculate the fractions and understand the decimals or whole numbers (integers). When I was in middle school we always square rooted it, you can use your calculator if you like... but you can also divide the numerator by the denominator.. even though those are two different things, that's what my mathematics teacher taught us from a long time ago. That's my best advice, and then link it to the point. But you have to calculate each and everyone unless you know that fraction's decimal by heart.
