2 * 5 over 3 * 12 (multiply 2 and 5 and 3 and 12)
10 over 3 * 12 (multiply 2 * 5 so it can be 10)
10/36 ( multiply 3 * 12 so it can be 36)
5/18 (now simplify it)
Answer: 5/18.

Find the common denominator. (12)
2•4=8
_ _
3•4=12
8/12•5/12=5/18
5/18 is your answer.
