The main thing is the language. Mexicans speak Spanish while United States citizens speak English. They also use different currencies and have different economies. They also have a different government systems because Mexico does not have a large amount of states that are bound together in a Union. Mexicans also don't invade or meddle in foreign affairs of countries while the US is usually involved in missions with the United Nations.
