The poet uses a lot of symbols within the idea of wyrd or fate to give the atmosphere of death and doom. He also uses the idea of emergen from the earth as a representation or rebirth and getting power in order to defeat. it can be also mentioned the treasure as a symbol of transmission of values to new generations .
