When using the substitution method to solve a nonlinear system of equations, you should first see if you can _____ one variable in one of the equations in the system?

You have to be able to solve for one of the equations to equal one of the two variables in the equation. For an example, y-2x=6 and 2y+6x=33 then you add the 2x on both sides of the first equation which would look like this, y=2x+6, to substitute the y in the second equation.....
