Who was the first Roman to show any interest in Britain?
Julius Caesar invaded Britain in 55 BC. He was the first Roman to invade Britain. His first invasion was not really successful , so in 56 BC, a year later. He bought his huge shove of 5 Roman platoons. He was successful this time in invading Britain.
