Hephaestus is the ugly son of Zeus and Hera. He is the god of craftsmanship and blacksmiths. Once he was born and Hera and Zeus saw how ugly he was he was cast off of Olympus. He then met Aphrodite, the goddess of beauty, and fell in love.
